What is involved in the reclassification of a position?
Reclassification of a professional staff position is an increase in salary level where, after assessment by the Classifications Unit, there has been an identified significant change to the work value of the position. This can include increased responsibilities in current duties, supervision of employees or new duties at a higher level. It does not include increase in workload.
